You can spend the night in one of Mandala Tribe’s treehouses or villas, all nestled among beautiful plants and trees. The whole setting perfectly matches the tropical island vibes of Siquijor!
The treehouses
We booked the Deluxe Bungalow at Mandala Tribe Treehouses. Our treehouse had a semi-outdoor bathroom downstairs, a cozy little balcony adjoining the bedroom, and a terrace below. The room was simple but had everything we needed, including air conditioning. We love the little “village vibe” too, where everyone has their own place.
One thing to keep in mind: if you’re afraid of insects, Mandala Tribe Treehouses might not be the best fit. We had quite a few ants in the bathroom and occasionally in the bedroom. It didn’t bother us, but it might not be for everyone.
Our experience at Mandala Tribe Treehouses
We spent 2 nights at Mandala Tribe Treehouses, and it made our time in Siquijor unforgettable. If you’re looking for a unique stay with the ultimate island vibes, Mandala Tribe Treehouses is the place to be! At € 60 per night, it’s pretty affordable for such a unique experience. Especially compared to the € 95 we paid for the treehouse at Our Jungle Camp in Thailand.
The exceptional service was another highlight of our stay. The staff greeted us with a welcome sign and provided us with daily drinks and snacks. We also arranged a scooter through them and used their laundry service, both of which were fantastic. Our laundry has never smelled so good during our world trip. We cannot recommend this place enough for its unique experience and outstanding service!
