The treehouses
We ended up staying in the Treehouse Triple as the Treehouse Double was fully booked. But hey, we’re not complaining about all this extra space! Each treehouse is named after an element from nature, ours was called “Bird of Paradise”. Our treehouse had a charming balcony with stunning views of the river and the jungle. It was all built using natural materials, which we loved! Inside, we had everything we needed: a mosquito net, water container, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. The room and bathroom were really spacious, great to store all our bags and have a relaxing shower. The design was open-air for better airflow, which meant we had occasional visitors like lizards and insects. It didn’t bother us since it’s all part of the experience, but it might not be for everyone. We really enjoyed being so close to nature!
Our experience at Our Jungle Camp – Eco Resort
Staying overnight at Our Jungle Camp was undoubtedly a highlight of our Thailand adventure. We absolutely loved immersing ourselves in nature and waking up to the delightful sounds of birdsong. The balcony was a nice bonus, as soon as we arrived we spent hours soaking in the breathtaking views. With lush greenery, serene river vistas, and lively birds and monkeys around, there’s never a dull moment! Even just sitting there, admiring the views and listening to the sounds was an experience in itself. If you’re a nature lover, we highly recommend spending a night at Our Jungle Camp for an unforgettable and sustainable jungle getaway.
We spent € 94,11 for one night, which included breakfast. While it’s not the cheapest option, we believe it’s completely worth it! Considering the proximity to nature and the eco-friendly features of the resort, we think it’s a fair price. On top of that, it offers something different than your regular hotel. Our Jungle Camp is tucked away in a peaceful spot, yet it has everything you could ask for. There’s a restaurant, bar, organic farm, massage services, cooking classes, river tubing, canoe tours, and more!
