Las Vegas

5 best Las Vegas hotels on the Strip

Las Vegas is home to some of the most iconic hotels in the world. Especially on the Strip you will find extravagant resorts, each boasting their own unique theme and characteristics. From the majestic fountains of the Bellagio to the charming gondolas of The Venetian, and the replica of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas, there is so much choice! If you’re looking for the best Las Vegas hotels on the Strip, make sure to discover our top 5 favorite hotels below! We visited them all, so you don’t have to. 😉

1. Paris Las Vegas

Paris Las Vegas

Let’s start with our absolute favorite: Paris Las Vegas. We already told you in our Las Vegas travel guide that we stayed at this hotel for two nights during our US road trip. This was one of the best stays we’ve had on this road trip! Since we stayed in 16 different accommodations, we have plenty of comparison material. 😉

Paris Las Vegas room

The rooms at Paris Las Vegas are spacious and elegant with luxurious bathrooms. We booked a room that offered an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower, with the captivating Fountains of the Bellagio in the background. The room was absolutely perfect, with lots of space and an incredible view. 😍

The hotel itself will transport you to the City of Love with its iconic Eiffel Tower, charming cobblestone streets, and gorgeous Paris hot air balloon. Its interior took us back to our time in Paris, they absolutely nailed the look and feel! Walking around this casino, with all the restaurants, cocktail bars and small shops was truly magical.

Paris Las Vegas pool

On top of all that, the hotel even has a pool at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. 🤩 Imagine: laying by the pool with a cocktail in your hand and the Eiffel Tower right next to you! There is even a DJ playing music all day. They also have poolside beds or private cabanas that you can rent, but they were too pricy for our taste ($400 for the beds per day, and a whopping $900 for the cabana). Talk about expensive!

On the ground floor you will find the lobby, the casino, a supermarket and several restaurants. From the Eiffel Tower Restaurant to Gordon Ramsay Steak and even a Nobu restaurant, you really can find everything here! You don’t even have to leave your hotel for lunch or dinner.

The Venetian

The Venetian

The Venetian is a stunning hotel inspired by the enchanting city of Venice. The interior is truly beautiful with attention to detail! From beautiful frescoes to elegant marble statues, every detail has been thought of. If we may give you a tip, don’t forget to look up! The ceiling was our absolute favorite. 🥹

The gondolas are definitely the highlight for us! We immediately fell in love with the charming gondolas gliding through the canals. You can choose to do an inside or outside tour. We recommend the inside tour if you’re looking for a real Venetian experience. With this inside tour you’ll pass under countless bridges and have a more serene experience, make sure to look up at the sky! If you pick the outside tour, you’ll experience the fresh air but there will also be some Vegas noise in the background. If the weather is great, we would definitely go for the outside tour! Prices for the gondolas start at € 30, but if you want a private gondola-tour, be prepared to pay big bucks!

Like most hotels in Las Vegas, The Venetian features a pool, casino and some restaurants. The pool area of The Venetian consists of a total of five pools and is over 5 acres big. There’s one pool that comes with a poolclub and two pools that can be found near the Venezia Tower. Other than that you have multiple jacuzzi’s, one at the main pool and two at the Venezia tower. Compared to the pool of Paris Las Vegas where we stayed for 3 days, the pool complex of The Venetian is something else. If pools are your thing, definitely stay here!

On to the restaurants, then. If we had to recommend one restaurant at The Venetian, it would undoubtedly be BRERA osteria! This charming Italian restaurant is located in the heart of The Venetian and offers delicious homemade pastas and pizzas. They really captured our hearts with delicious and affordable food. Read all about it in our Las Vegas travel guide. Other than that, the Japanese restaurant WAKUDA is definitely on our bucket list with its amazing menu, catered to high-end dining. Count us in next time!

New York Hotel

New York Hotel Las Vegas

Since our trip to New York, we can both agree that the Big Apple has stolen our hearts. From the magnificent skyscrapers to the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge, truly everything about our time in New York was breathtaking. 😍 We were thrilled when we saw a replica of the Statue of Liberty at New York Hotel! We could really feel the vibrant energy of the Big Apple when admiring the Statue of Liberty, complete with a roller coaster that takes you on a thrilling ride through the city. A ride on the rollercoaster is about € 17, but we guarantee it’s worth it!

Even the restaurants in the New York Hotel are themed. From Shake Shack to Luke’s Lobster, New York hotel really got the look, vibe, and food scene right. It was really great to be able to relive (and rediscover) the amazing taste of those Shake Shack curly fries!

But it doesn’t stop with amazing food and an awesome vibe. The New York Hotel also has a pool, although less fancy compared to the one at The Venetian. On top of that, they also offer shows of the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil here, with their amazing show “Mad Apple”. Fun guaranteed!

If you’re looking for the best of New York and Las Vegas combined, you should definitely stay at New York hotel!

Bellagio

Bellagio is perhaps the most prestigious hotel of Las Vegas and definitely one of the best Las Vegas hotels on the Strip. Renowned for its world-famous fountain show and breathtaking interior, this iconic resort never fails to mesmerize its guests. This hotel has even been featured in several films!

Bellagio fountain show

The most famous thing about Bellagio is undoubtedly the fountain show. We already wrote about it in our Las Vegas travel guide, this is one of the things you simply must have seen when in Vegas. You’ll be enchanted by the beauty and elegance of the performance, we promise!

For the best experience of the fountain show, we recommend dining at LAGO. This Italian restaurant by chef Julian Serrano offers the best views of the fountain show. They offer small (sharing) plates and amazing seafood dishes. Prices are a little more expensive than usual, but with a view like that who could blame them? It can’t get any more magical!

Bellagio interior

The interior of Bellagio is also worth mentioning. From the lobby to the casino, truly everything is beautiful here! Even the pool area is a real gem. Each of the five (!) pools resemble Mediterranean-style courtyards with grandiose water fountains. Everything about this hotel really exudes luxury, with shops like Louis Vuitton, Dior and Cartier all inside as well. And we haven’t even mentioned the Botanical Gardens that you can find in the lobby, truly magical.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious. From suites to rooms with fountain views, you have it all here! A stay in Bellagio truly reflects the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas.

Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace Las Vegas

Caesars Palace is another legendary hotel of Las Vegas. When entering this beautiful hotel, you’ll be greeted by Roman statues everywhere. There’s also a breathtaking replica of the iconic Colosseum and even one of the Trevi Fountain! You really get the best of both worlds: a trip in time to Ancient Rome combined with the excitement of Las Vegas.

The interior of Caesars Palace is really beautiful. We’re a big fan of the “authentic feel” (like in Paris Las Vegas), and they absolutely nailed it. We felt like an Emperor and Empress walking through it, the eye for detail is amazing.

The hotel is also home to some of the best restaurants. Nobu, MR CHOW and a Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen can all be found here. If you’re looking for a more “wallet friendly” alternative, Gordon Ramsey also has a Pub & Grill location at Caesars Palace. It really offers you the best of both worlds. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, go to Hell’s Kitchen. If you’re more interested in fish & chips, go to the pub! 😉

The hotel offers a selection of luxurious accommodations, ranging from penthouses and suites to villas. Luxury guaranteed! You certainly won’t be bored at Caesars Palace, with as many as 7 pools, a fitness center and a spa and salon at your disposal. They definitely take the cake when it comes to the amount of pools available. Also, if you don’t want to stop gambling but still fancy a day by the pool, they have an amazing solution to that: swim-up blackjack tables under a cascading waterfall! Why sit in a dark casino when you can gamble by the pool? If you’re looking for a unique stay, be sure to check out Caesars Palace.

Fun fact
Did you know that the iconic movie “The Hangover” was partially filmed at Caesars Palace?
