Discover The Plantation
The Plantation offers 4-star villas and apartments in Koh Tao, nestled within a coconut plantation and just a short 10-minute walk from Sairee Beach. Each one is dripping with luxury, with some even boasting private pools and stunning sea views. The scenery is unbeatable, with endless palm trees and mesmerizing ocean vistas. Talk about the ultimate luxurious getaway!
The apartments
We booked a Studio Apartment with a Sea View for 2 nights. It was a rare treat to have a living area and kitchen after weeks of traveling. We hadn’t relaxed like that since the start of our world trip. Plus, the balcony with palm trees and sea views was absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. Absolutely magical!
Another great thing is that many restaurants deliver right to your apartment. You can find the menus in the apartment. Once you’ve decided what you want to eat, all you have to do is call and they’ll bring your order to you. We ended up ordering a delicious cheese and charcuterie board, something we hadn’t had in months! Enjoying it with a nice drink while watching the sunset made for the perfect romantic evening.
Our experience at The Plantation
Staying at The Plantation wasn’t initially our plan. We’d already experienced some unique accommodations in Thailand, like sleeping in a bubble and glamping in Khao Sok. With our stay on Koh Tao booked last-minute, our options were limited. All the affordable places were booked, leaving us with either pricier options or lower-quality places.
Since it was our last days in Thailand, we didn’t want to end on a sour note. After experiencing our fair share of quirky hostels, like ones with toilets that don’t flush and beds that sag, we were keen to avoid any more strange surprises. That’s how we found ourselves at The Plantation, and it turned out to be one of our best decisions ever! It was the perfect ending to our extraordinary trip. We paid around € 207 for two nights, so it’s not exactly budget-friendly. But if you’re seeking affordable luxury or want to treat yourself, The Plantation is the place to be! It provided the most luxurious stay we’ve had in Thailand, making it perfect for a luxurious and romantic getaway. We cannot recommend this accommodation enough!
